FAQ
-
How much do your services cost?I have open pricing, projects are quoted depending on the size, complexity and overall time necessary for completion. I additionally paint everything to the same standard. This allows me to offer you a much better price than otherwise!
-
Is there a minimum for a commission? While there is no minimum price for a commission, there is a minimum model count. You can commission a minimum amount equal to the amount in that particular box of miniatures. For example, Intercessors come in a box of ten, so the minimum amount of intercessors you can commission would be 10. If you are sending me the miniatures yourself, you can disregard this section!
-
What is your payment plan?My payment plan is as follows: 40 - 60 Initially I will ask you to transfer the cost of the miniatures + 40%, this will cover for ordering, shipping and processing while additionally serving as a deposit for my services. When the project is done and only when you have approved of the final results, I will ask you for the remaining 60% + the shipping costs*. Once I have received the payment, I will package and ship the miniatures to you! *You will know the shipping costs before the first payment.
-
Can you paint in X style?I only paint in my own style as showcased on my website and social media. This is because my workflow involves a lot of alternative paint mediums such as enamel, oil, lacquer, wax, etc. As such, painting in a different style would mean changing my workflow which is something I want to avoid.
-
How long does it take to complete a commission? The timeline for each commission depends on the size and complexity of the project, as well as my current workload. I will provide you with an estimated completion time during the consultation. When I'm able to begin your commission will depend on my current workload, you can check the estimation on the Commissions page!
-
What is a Consultation? After you have approved of the initial quota we will discuss all the details more thoroughly. Details regarding the colour scheme, basing environment, kitbashing and anything else that might be necessary. At this point any potential changes to the price will be discussed if any additional details and effects are added ( e.g.: Freehand designs, glow effects, scenic bases) After this we can move on payment and ordering of the miniatures (or you sending them to me if you have them)
-
What about shipping?I ship all around the globe, no matter where you are I will ship to you! The exact price of shipping of course depends on the destination and size of the shipment but this will be communicated during the consultation stage following your initial quota. Each shipment will be ensured and tracked, the tracking number provided to you as soon as the shipment is sent!

We will communicate through email, I will send you progress pictures at each stage and we will address any worries you may have. If you have any questions feel free to email me at any point as well.
-
Can I make amendments to my commission after it has started?I understand that sometimes changes are necessary during the creative process. Depending on the stage at which the project currently is, changes can be accommodated for. More significant alterations might require an additional fee and could impact the timeline. If such changes need to be done, we will discuss the exact terms under which this can happen as its impossible to predict how time consuming they will be. I encourage you to provide clear and detailed instructions and reference materials during the initial consultation to minimize the need for major changes.
-
What happens if there is a problem or dispute with the commission?I strive to provide a clear and stress-free process. If you have any issues or concerns with your commission, please reach out to me as soon as possible, we will work closely together to find a solution! It doesn't matter if it relates to matters before, during the commission, or after it, feel free to get in touch!
-
Can you repaint and strip models?Unfortunately this is not a service I provide, the process of stripping miniatures is often not worth the risk and the time spent.
-
What about refunds? The terms regarding refunds depend on the stage of the project. If work has not begun, a full refund can be issued, however if you would want me to send the unopened miniatures to you, you will have to cover the shipment and it will incur a fee to cover for my wasted time. If work has already begun, I can refund you the 40% deposit which you've paid. The miniatures will remain with me as I would have spent time working on them by that time. If work has wrapped up or the project is near completion I will not issue any refunds.
-
What about intellectual property and confidentiality?I respect the intellectual property rights and confidentiality of my customers. If you provide me with reference materials or specific instructions, I ensure that any copyrighted or trademarked elements will be used as intended only and deleted as soon as the project is done. I maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal information, no personal information will ever be shared with anyone. Only the necessary information is collected such as name and email and later on delivery address. I retain intellectual rights over my work, meaning that I have the right to post any progress/completion pictures on my social media accounts and website.

What about customs charges?International customs are a complicated and fluid topic. While most of the time products such as painted miniatures are not subject to any import tax or similar charge, this can differ depending on the destination/origin country, size and value of the package. As with any international shipment, charges related to customs fees and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient of a given package. Its best to consult your national customs agency for information.
